Simple, Practical Self- Care For Today’s Busy Woman

Self- care is not a luxury, but a necessity for moms and individuals alike. Self- care is often a task you don’t realize in the moment. Like me, it may take you a little time to find a good balance. It’s taken me quite some time now, but I really like the self-care routine I am coming into lately. Below are a few examples of what I consider simple, practical self- care ideas.

- BE ALONE!! take a short ride alone, turn whatever music you want, as loud as you want and go for a bit. This is DEFINITELY top of my self- care list.
- Find a fragrance you LOVE and have it in your space. Personally, I LOVE Eucalyptus, so I use a shower spray, and the entire house smells like it. I also run it in diffusers in the house, especially with cold and flu season upon us.
- TAKE PROPER CARE OF YOUR BODY!! This is the only body you will ever have, treat it well. I spent so many years treating mine like the dump to only be getting the expected result. - Time In Nature. I’m a total country girl, born and bred, and will always be. I love fresh air. I also love those winds at the beginning of Fall and Spring. I enjoy a light summer rain and a quiet winter’s night. Somewhere, sometime go into the quiet of nature to recharge and reconnect.
- I’ve neglected my skincare for too long, so now I make it a point to indulge in a longer shower at least once a week. During this time, I use eucalyptus spray and treat myself to an at-home spa night. I conclude the routine with a quality moisturizer, leaving me feeling refreshed as I end my night..
